This book is a collection of transcriptions for harp or keyboard from the 17th century lute manuscripts by Rowallan and Straloch. The keys are easy-rarely any accidentals, and generally fairly easy to play. They are written as basic outlines (direct transcriptions) , that were commonly meant to be ornamented and improvised upon. They work especially well on the wire-strung harp.
